Subject: Liturgies in Holy Week 2021

Peace in Christ!

Please be informed that the steering committee of our parish has decided the rules for the liturgies in the coming Holy Week 2021 as below:

1. No grouping by the residential area will be made on Palm Sunday (27th Mar) and Easter Sunday (4th Apr).
2. Reservation will be needed for the liturgies of Holy Thursday (1st Apr), Holy Friday (2nd Apr) and Easter Vigil (3rd Apr). Reservation is to be made only one of the three days per person considering the limitation of the capacity.
3. The masses on Easter Vigil & Easter Sunday will be uploaded to YouTube.

 
1. No grouping by the residential area will be made on Palm Sunday (27th Mar) and Easter Sunday (4th Apr).
 Only the faithful belong to Parish of Machida, the catechumens, or the precatechumenate who attend the introductory courses in our parish can join the masses on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.
 Up to 75 people can enter into the chapel each time. When the chapel is over capacity, please move to the hall on the 1st floor. If the hall reaches the capacity, the rest will not be able to join a liturgy in that case, unfortunately. It is expected that the masses at 10:30 will be most crowded both on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. Please attend the masses other than at 10:30 when possible.
 No party will be held on Easter Sunday from the infection control point of view.

2. Reservation will be needed for the liturgies of Holy Thursday (1st Apr), Holy Friday (2nd Apr) and Easter
Vigil (3rd Apr). Reservation is to be made only one of the liturgies per person during these three days.
 Please fill your name in the application sheet at the entrance hall when each of you comes to the masses during lent.
 Only one reservation is acceptable among the three liturgies.

3. The masses on Easter Vigil & Easter Sunday will be uploaded to YouTube.
 For those who stay home and pray there, the masses on Easter Vigil & Easter Sunday will be uploaded to YouTube. The details are to be announced later on the website of our parish.

During Lent, let us pray, practice temperance and prevent spread of Covid-19 in order to celebrate Easter with great joy. May the blessings of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit be with all of our community members. Thank you!
